On December 26th in Hamilton, Ontario, Leslie Sexton defended her Boxing Day 10-mile title and produced the fastest time by a woman in the 94-year history of the event. Clocking 56:05, Sexton set a personal best by nearly 2 minutes and took over 1 minute off the existing event record of 57:12. As with 2013, the Boxing Day victory provided a final highlight in an exciting 2014 for both Sexton and the London Runner Distance Club. February: Kyle O'Neill and Leslie Sexton compete as part of the Canadian Cross Country team at the NACAC Championships
April: O'Neill set a club 5k road race record of 14:41 in winning the annual Downtown 5k, leading 5 LRDC men under 15:30: Adam Stacey 15:10, Clint Smith 15:17, Nick McGraw 15:21, and Elliot de Lange 15:23
May: LRDC women show their 5,000m depth with 4 under 17:45 at Forest City 5k track meet: Philippa Aukett 17:21, Courtney Laurie 17:39, Lauren Prufer 17:41, and Leslie Sexton the top female overall in 16:17
May: O'Neill and Sexton set club records at London 10,000m, with Sexton winning (Ontario Champion) in 33:14 and O'Neill 4th in 29:53; they would both go on to medal at the Canadian Championships over 10,000m
June: William Stewart set TVDSB Open Boys records for 800m in 2:09.78 and 1,500m in 4:31.16
Summer: Philippa Aukett gradually lowered the club records over 800m to 2:09:46, and 1,500m to 4:22.58, earning Ontario Championship silver medals in both events
October: Seth Marcaccio placed 2nd at the OCAA XC Championships, while Stefanie Smith placed 10th at the OUA XC Championships
November: Leslie Sexton placed 9th at the Canadian XC Championships
