The London Community Runs are are series of events open to everyone. They are hosted hosted by the London Runner Distance Club and supported by Runners' Choice London. Runners can use these events however they wish: as an easy run, a moderately hard workout, or an all-out race effort.

The format is simple: Register for the event online, Run in the Community event, and then Relax and socialize with other members of the London running community post-race (and perhaps win some draw prizes!). This is a simple, grass roots series; times will be recorded and draw prizes will be distributed after the last participant has finished.

Registration is free. Online pre-registration is preferred, to help the organizers plan; however, day of entry is allowed. Participants who wish to make a contribution are welcome to choose between:
*bring a canned food item, which will go to the London Food Bank (
*donate to London Runner Distance Club
*leave an old pair of shoes, which will go to a local charity

The first three events use the beautiful, natural loops of Springbank Park for the Small, Full, and Double loop courses (note: April 2018 event may need to use different course). Start and Finish lines are at the wooden posts just East of the historic Stone Cottage.
The fourth event will take place at Weldon Park, located just North of London, in Arva. The surface here is a mix of grass and trail - great fun for anyone looking to try out cross country/trail running and not afraid to get a little dirty.
